I will often think about a watercolor painting for weeks before I make my first sketch. Planning is very important, because the actual painting part takes no more than a few hours.
Impressionism is suggesting the details and pushing light and color. I paint landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes or figures. I try to find the emotion that might be hiding in scene. Ultimately the final result should move the viewer with emotion. I hope you enjoy the portfolio and come back again for updates.
